Jennifer Is originally from Vermont, and relocated to NC after graduating from PT school. Jennifer has worked in various physical therapy settings to include acute care, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing. Jennifer began specializing in Women’s Health in 1996, and opened Physical Therapy for Women Inc in 2001. She has been a guest speaker for many Local women's groups, physician CME (continuing medical education), Breast Cancer Support Groups, 2006 North Carolina Nurses Symposium, 2013 C-3 Symposium, Certified Midwives, UNCW Health Education, NH County Retired Nurses, Local PEO, & Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNC Wilmington. Jennifer is currently completing Ano-Rectal Manometry Diagnostic Testing at a Local Gastroenterology Office. When not working Jennifer enjoys hanging with her family, the beach, reading, crafting, paddleboarding, pickleball, and fat-tire biking. Jennifer lives in Wilmington with her husband and 4 children.

Jen is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and has been living in Wilmington since 2014. After graduating from PT school she spent 12 years working in Pittsburgh/managing a busy outpatient orthopedic practice until she moved here in 2014. She obtained her lymphedema and dry needling certifications and began working with this special patient population while still treating an orthopedic caseload. She likes the variety that this offers in working with many different patient populations. In her free time, Jen likes to spend time with her family and dog, especially enjoying the outdoors biking, hiking, or spending time at the beach or on the water. She has a passion for pilates and takes reformer pilates classes several times per week. She looks forward to helping her patients achieve their goals and treating them with a biopsychosocial model that encompasses treating the whole individual, not just one ailment.

Brittany is a native of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, and relocated to Wilmington in 2017. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for her undergraduate degree and Clarke University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Upon completing her Doctorate she received Advanced training through the Academy of lymphatics founded by Joachim Zuther to earn her CLT. Since arriving at PTFW she has found a passion for treating Breast Cancer survivors and educating them on the best way to manage their condition. Brittany also finds passion in the mechanics of running and offers a gait analysis to properly implement a return to running program for athletes and postpartum patients. In her spare time, she enjoys an active lifestyle playing soccer, paddle boarding, riding her bike and playing with her animals.

Candice is relocating to Wilmington after spending the past 13 years in Colorado, ready to return back to the East Coast. Over her extensive career, she has worked in a variety of outpatient settings treating patients with lymphedema and orthopedic injuries. Her advanced training in movement system impairments and Pilates allows her to treat the body as a whole, not just the sum of its parts. Candice is very excited to be a part of the team working collaboratively. In her free time she and her husband will be exploring the area, going to the beach, kayaking and spending lots of time outside with their dogs.

She further pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where she found her passion treating in the Women's Health Pelvic Floor setting during her clinical rotations. She has recently relocated to Wilmington to be closer to family and of course the beach. Beth enjoys the outdoors and traveling, playing trivia with friends and family, and being a foodie. She is excited to grow in such a transformative and rewarding field and to help patients live their lives to the fullest.

Briana is originally from Ohio and move to Wilmington, NC in the spring of 2021 to be closer to the beach and away from cold weather. Kristen is originally from Greensboro, NC but came to the coast to attend college at UNC Wilmington. She majored in exercise science with the plan to pursue her doctorate in Physical Therapy. After she received her Doctorate from Campbell University she quickly moved back to the coast to call it home. Kristen had a baby boy in January of 2023 and this really sparked her passion for women's health. She saw the need for more. When not working she likes to hang out with her husband, son Brewer and dog Cali. She also likes to workout, cook, and try every coffee shop in town!

I was introduced to the world of PT after graduating with a BS in Exercise Science. While teaching fitness classes and personal training at local gyms, I also worked as an exercise technician in a large, busy orthopedic physical therapy clinic. I juggled these positions for 6 years before deciding to return to Physical Therapist Assistant School in 2008. Two years and two babies later I began my career as a PTA in a small orthopedic clinic where I stayed for another 6 years. It was a great place to learn, practice new skills, and grow as a therapist and a person. Since moving to Wilmington I spent a short time in Southport and now have been at PTFW since 2017. Here I have grown tremendously gaining skills, information, and understanding from a tremendous group of skilled practitioners. I remain fascinated by the work of orthopedic PT and am constantly amazed at the body's ability to heal, change, and adapt.
