Lymphedema and Pelvic Awareness Night is March 21st, 2019

Physical Therapy for Women wants to increase the Awareness of Lymphedema and Pelvic issues to show support for those in our community who are managing the challenges of this diagnosis.

Lymphedema and Pelvic Awareness night in 2019 is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st from 6-8:00 pm. We would love to have you join us! The first 50 attendees will receive a swag bag full of products, coupons and other fun goodies!

We are currently organizing this event and offering people/businesses opportunities to participate in 3 different ways:

Contributors: Person or business who donate items to be included in  (50) swag bags, or item(s) for event raffle. All money raised from the raffle goes towards our newly developed "Compassionate Compression" program--where we assist those in financial hardship to obtain compression garments (which unfortunately is a huge need for many of our patients).

Sponsors: Those who choose to have a table setup and attend the event! This will give you the opportunity to directly speak with all attendees and discuss services you provide in our community! You are also encouraged  to have a swag bag donation or raffle item to increase your business's presence. We are asking for a $50.00 donation for the table space that also goes towards our Compassionate Compression program--100% of all donations/contributions go directly to purchasing compression garments.

Main Event Sponsor: Open for a person/business that would like to provide the hors d'oeuvres for the event. This would include assorted wraps, appetizers, desserts, etc...

We are hoping to grow this event and include even more local sponsors who provide services to this population. We are getting strong interests from additional providers which we are very excited about! We also hope to get more local health care providers to attend this event to not only increase their own knowledge regarding lymphedema and pelvic issues but also to show support to those living with this everyday. We have started advertising this event and all contributors/sponsors will be included in our event material! This is a great way to educate our community about the services your business provides, and to speak directly to all attendees as well as other businesses in the area!

Please let us know how you or your business would like to be a part of this event!  Feel free to share this event with anyone else that you know that may be interested in joining us in March!

You're invited to meet Beautycounter and discover why we want to get safe products into the hands of everyone. Join us for a conversation that will change the way you look at beauty. Samples of Beautycounter are always located in the PTFW Lobby for patients, friends, family, etc. to check out! Call us if you have any questions.

What Beautycounter has taught us....
*There are about 10,000 chemicals commonly found in personal care products - only 10% of those chemicals have safety data.
*The United States has not passed a federal law to regulate the ingredients used in personal care products since 1938.
*The European Union has spent the past two decades banning or restricting more than 1,300 ingredients - the U.S has only banned 11 to date.
